Some of the common signs and symptoms of depression are:

7. Difficulty sleeping
8. Weight gain or loss
9. Hopelessness
10. Suicidal Thoughts

When a person starts to lose interest in life and the people/things that made them content, it usually is a signal that some depression is setting in.

· Depression is a name we give to a state of being
· Depression is usually caused by a combination of internal dynamics including:thoughts, biochemical reactions, trauma and spiritual issues
· Depression does not have to be chronic and can be treated
· Depression can be successfully treated with emotional therapy, pharmacological methods, and energy work
Depression can be helped and you don't have to be sad for such a long time!

· Start to get some type of exercise-even if you just walk up and down your own steps a couple of times a day...just start
· Lay off the sugar,alcohol and simple carbs!  I know they are comfort food, but you really need protein and veggies to combat the physical symptoms of depression
· Write one page of thoughts - 3x's a day for a week...This will tell you what you are doing to yourself through your thought life.  Changing negative thoughts around will drastically improve your condition!
